A private company established in 1982 by Colin Ashton as Director. Colin is well known in the industry having completed his apprenticeship in Hamilton and have worked in the city for over 40 years, adding son Lance as a Director to the business with over 34 years’ experience gives Mcleod Group of companies a wealth of knowledge and experience.

From this background and his knowledge of the industry Colin and Lance have extensive experience in all facets of Sheetmetal fabrication and light engineering.

Backed up by well-trained and loyal staff that assist the company in the day-to-day operation of the workshop. Tradesmen on site include certified welders for Tig, Mig and Arc welding, and Sheetmetal tradesmen and General Engineers.

McLeod Sheetmetal has provided design, detail drawings and manufactured of dust and fume extraction system, general Sheetmetal work and structural steel fabrications and light Engineering. With many years of experience in this industry McLeod Sheetmetal can offer a complete package to assist in helping its customers’ requirements, with the aid of AutoCAD and manual draughting facilities.

We also offer full sub-contract manufacture to customer’s drawings and offer full installation services if required, and with our own Plasma cutting machine on site we can cut material to your specifications.
